A story about overnight success…
In 1998, the Welsh band, Stereophonics won the Brit Awards Best Newcomer Award. On stage when receiving the award, lead singer, Kelly Jones, added, “About f&%king time.”
The Stereophonics had formed in 1992, and all members had been part of other bands prior to forming Stereophonics.
There is no overnight success, and long-term, meaningful development happens slowly.
Quick improvements will happen through Slow Coaching, yet they become engrained through daily practice.
To lead yourself is to know yourself.
To know yourself is to know your biography.
To know your biography is to own your biography.
By owning your biography you empower yourself.
Taking time to be outdoors, whether alone or with others, is the backbone of Slow Coaching.
